Obaseki Leads Ize-Iyamu with over 80,000 votes after 15 LGAs areas in the state
Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party is currently leading his closest challenger and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu with 80,207 votes in Saturday’s Edo State governorship election.
Obaseki has recorded 274,373 votes in the ongoing collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Benin City.
The total of 15 local government areas have officially announced.

Ize-Iyamu has recorded 194,166 votes, so far.
There are 18 Local Government Areas in the State where the election was held.
