Former Manchester United winger, Nani received a hero’s welcome at his unveiling to Orlando City supporters after completing a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon in Portugal earlier this week.
The 32-year-old was presented to fans on Wednesday night before his new club’s inaugural Orlando City Invitational trophy showdown with the New England Revolution.
Sporting the club’s jersey, the Portuguese forward showed his football skills by performing a number of keepy-ups in front of the cheering fans.
Orlando City SC EVP of Soccer Operations Luiz Muzzi told the club’s official website: ‘This is an exciting day for our organization. Nani brings tremendous experience to our roster.
‘He’s a dynamic winger with quality abilities to move and cross the ball, impact games and lead the offensive play.’
