Gunmen rape, kill 14-year-old girl in Katsina State
A 14-year-old girl has been reportedly raped and killed by gunmen, who invaded her father’s house in Shimfida, Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Residents disclosed that the victim was having a bath when the gunmen got to the house and took advantage of her.
It was further learnt that the girl’s parents were not at home when the incident happened last Wednesday.
The parents were said to have gone to Jibiya only to return to find the lifeless body of their daughter.
Residents stated that the gunmen, whose numbers could not be ascertained, did not remove any item from the house before escaping.

The girl’s father, Mallam Idris, reportedly told sympathisers that the victim’s nine-year-old brother was in the house when the incident happened.
Idris said it was the younger brother, who disclosed that the gunmen stormed the house when the girl was having her bath.
